SEVEN YEARS WITHOUT YOU

SEASON 30

EPISODE 52

(Su Yu was Hopeless Too (2)

“Mian, it turns out… that this is how you viewed…” Huo Siqian looked lost and helpless.

“How else do you think I should view you?” Huo Mian looked at him with a poisonous gaze.

“I thought that… you’d at least feel something towards me. After all, we’ve known each other for so many years.”

“Is that something to be proud of? I’ve known my high school classmates for many years, so should I feel something towards them?” Huo Mian looked indifferent.

“I thought that you could see my true feelings towards you all these years.” Huo Siqian felt wronged and devastated like a child.

“Don’t tell me about your true feelings, it only matters if both parties cherish each other… If you’re forcing yourself on me, that is called being selfish.”

“It turns out that it’s like that.” Huo Siqian looked a little disappointed.

“So, Huo Siqian, let me go and let yourself go… It’s exhausting after so many years. You must be tired after going after me for so many years. I am very stressed too, so let’s not bother each other from now on, alright?”

“Mian, I have to take you away.”

“No, if you take me away, that’ll be the beginning of another tragedy…” Huo Mian shook her head, she would not leave with Huo Siqian alive.

“Mian, you don’t understand. If I don’t take you away, you’ll be dead for sure.”

“I know, you want to say that Ian will be after me again, right?” Huo Mian knew that Ian was after her ever since she discovered her true identity.

“You don’t know Ian… Do you think I am cruel? He’s ten thousand times crueler… Strong as Lu Yan is, even she has been on the run from Ian for a few years now,” Huo Siqian tried to explain Ian’s terrifying side to Huo Mian.

“If I leave because I am afraid, what will happen to my husband and my daughters?”

“If you leave, they’ll be safe… If you stay, they’ll only get dragged into this.”

“So are you trying to brainwash me? Should I be thanking you for taking me away? Hmm?” Huo Mian’s path of thought was extremely clear.

She always caught onto the key point immediately, and Huo Siqian couldn’t help but be impressed by that.

“I just don’t want you to get hurt, we’ll go to a place where it’s only us two… We’ll live a peaceful life.”

“If I am with you, I’ll never be peaceful. My love is only for my husband and children. Huo Siqian, by doing this, you’re going down a path of no return… My husband will not give up searching for me. It won’t be good for both parties. Why bother? Listen to me and give up now…”

Huo Mian wanted to leave a way out for herself and the others.

So, she wanted to convince Huo Siqian to give up before tragedy strikes.

“Give up? Haha, I can’t give up. When I first saw you all those years ago, I knew that I will never give up… Mian, can you believe that if I am given the chance to live again, I would do it all over again. I would still do the same even if you think that I am hurting you. I would still do the same even if you would hate my guts for it,” Huo Siqian said in a determined tone.

“Why do you put yourself through this…”

“The time is getting late. Mian, you should change into the beautiful wedding gown…” pointing at the wedding dress in the car, Huo Siqian said.

“No, I am not going to.” She wouldn’t even change into a normal gown, much less a wedding dress.

“Don’t force me… You know that I don’t want to treat you like that.” Huo Siqian’s gaze deepened.
