SEVEN YEARS WITHOUT YOU

SEASON 29

EPISODE 1

(Going Further Down the Path of Self Destruction (1)

“We always had a decent relationship…” Wei Dong said.

“You’re too naΓ―ve, that’s why you get set up so easily.”

“Could Han Xu be…” Wei Dong finally realized what Huo Mian was hinting at.

“Stay away from him, he’s not a good person… Things are finally looking up for you, don’t get involved in more trouble and live a peaceful life… Your mom is getting older.”

Thinking about Wei Dong’s mother, the woman who looked kind and honest, Huo Mian felt that life wasn’t easy for her.

“I will. Thank you, Huo Mian.” Wei Dong was seeing the rare qualities of Huo Mian.

No wonder so many excellent men were in love with her. Even girls would fall in love with a woman like Huo Mian.

“Okay, you should go now. Call a cab, I need to go home. The kids will miss me if I go back too late.”

“Okay.”

After splitting up with Wei Dong, Huo Mian drove straight home. Luckily, it wasn’t too late yet.

The twins were sitting around their father, and they seemed to be playing a game.

Qin Chu only smiled like this when he was with his daughters or his wife.

“Daddy, you’re so good at video games.” Little Bean hugged Qin Chu’s neck.

“Pff, Daddy is so smart, a little game like this isn’t a challenge to him.” Pudding rolled her eyes.

“Sis, if Daddy and Mommy played against each other, who would win?” Little Bean wondered.

“I don’t know, I’ve never seen Mommy play video games.” Pudding wasn’t sure.

“What game? Let me try.” Huo Mian walked over.

“Wow, Mommy, you’re home.” Little Bean was taken by surprise.

Qin Chu raised his head and saw Huo Mian. He looked at her gently and asked, “Did you have dinner yet?”

“No.”

“What do you want to eat? I’ll get the kitchen to make it for you.”

“I want to eat your homemade steak,” Huo Mian said.

“Okay, I’ll go make it right now.” After speaking, Qin Chu put down his phone and was about to get up.

“Eh, really? I was joking. I’m not hungry. Let me see what game you’re playing.” Huo Mian huddled closer.

She sat on Qin Chu’s lap. The family of four looked happy.

“It’s an adventure game. Daddy is so cool, he beat fifty levels without dying once,” Little Bean praised.

“What about you and your sister?” Huo Mian asked Little Bean.

“I died when I got to level twenty, and Pudding died at level thirty-five…”

“Wow, that must be hard. Let me try…” Huo Mian started playing on Qin Chu’s phone.

“Sis, let’s bet. Is Mommy better or is Daddy better?” Little Bean was excited.

“I’m not interested,” Pudding said.

“Pff, you’re no fun. I think Mommy will be better than Daddy, haha,” Little Bean praised Huo Mian in front of her.

To her surprise, Huo Mian was no good and died right after.

“Uh, I died.”

Little Bean was speechless…

Pudding began laughing hysterically.

Little Bean said, “Mommy, is that a slap to my face?”

Pudding said, “You really got hit hard…”

Qin Chu said, “Okay, game time is over. Go and find your auntie and shower. From now on, your mommy is mine.”

Huo Mian was speechless.
