Tom's POV 🗣

Two Weeks later 🗣
Thankfully I got the contract from Mr Romero to build his new company building that was more than thirty stories tall.

Iris and I went back to being cat and dog as the arguments between the both of us turned out for the worse.

There is nothing I ever do that pleases her and vice versa.

Even Sofia and Oliver no longer talk to each other just because of the stupid war between the both of us.

I just can't with this any longer.

‘Iris open the door!!'.I called out as I banged on her door with the Bucket she used in washing her car.

‘What do you want Tom??'.She asked with a frown on her face.

‘Your bucket, you left it on my lawn'.I replied.

‘So you're yelling my name all because of a bucket?? How very charming of you'.She blurted and yanked it away from my grasp.

‘You haven't been nice to me Iris, don't expect me to be nice back'.I replied.

‘Yeah we're stubborn neighbors remember?? We basically hate each other so I understand where you're coming from Tom'.She feigned a chuckle and I so badly wanted to shove my fists into that pretty mouth of hers but held myself because of my sanity.

’You are a horrible person Iris and—

’I am not a horrible person,I am just a woman who wants to live her life without a man controlling her'.She stopped me halfway and corrected me.

‘Is that why you're doing this?? Cause you think I'm controlling you?!'.

‘No I always want to fight with you cause I don't want to fall in love with you Tom'.

‘Just get out neighbor!! We're better off hating each other!'.
