( Huo Mian, Let’s Get a Divorce (1)

Qin Chu didn’t respond…

“Because that psycho likes Huo Mian, he’s crazily in love with her! Did you know that?” Song Yishi declared emotionally as if she was revealing some important secret to Qin Chu…

His face, however, remained calm. He had known for a long time that Huo Siqian liked Huo Mian, or else he wouldn’t have warned her to stay away.

Qin Chu had never underestimated Huo Siqian, and he always knew he was a dangerous man…

“So what?” Qin Chu raised an eyebrow and demanded icily.

“He’ll do whatever it takes to get what he wants, okay? Huo Siqian is a complete psycho and madman without any bottom lines. Ordinary people like us are incapable of fighting against him because we’re not on the same level as him… He’s not human anymore!” Song Yishi was determined to tell Qin Chu how horrifying Huo Siqian was.

Everyone had been deceived by the smiling mask he wore, thinking that he was amiable or kindhearted. The truth was, he wasn’t any of that – he was a blood-thirsty wolf with great ambitions and desire. He didn’t give up until he achieved his goal and treated human life like weeds.

A person like him cannot be judged by the standards of ‘right’ or ‘wrong’, because in his mind, he was never wrong.

‘So what?” Qin Chu continued asking; Song Yishi’s information was old news to him, so he didn’t understand why she was making such a big fuss by coming all the way here to see him…

Qin Chu was in a bad mood, so he was in no mind to waste his time with her.

Just as he was about to leave, Song Yishi walked up to him and whispered, “Qin Chu, you have to kill him.”

“Are you crazy?” Dumbstruck, Qin Chu stared at Song Yishi in disbelief; how could a well-educated woman like her ask him to commit murder?

All Qin Chu wanted to do was defeat Huo Siqian on a business level, returning the favor by bankrupting the Huo Corporation the way Huo Siqian tried to bankrupt GK. He would never consider murdering him! That was a matter of principle and morality.

Even if he wanted to, Huo Mian would never let him step over that bottom line.

“Qin Chu, listen to me… if you don’t kill him, you won’t be able to defeat him, he’s terrifying… Even if your company survives this crisis, I can promise you he has more tricks up his sleeve… he’ll be even more ruthless! Please, trust me. I’m not exaggerating or crying wolf here. I know better than anyone what kind of man Huo Siqian is…”

After getting married, Song Yishi saw a side of Huo Siqian that she couldn’t tolerate. That was why she was determined to come looking for Qin Chu… if Huo Siqian found out about this, he was probably going to beat her up again. He was the kind of person who seeks revenge for the smallest grievance – even if you were the tiniest bit disloyal to him, he would strike back with all his might.

Qin Chu, on the other hand, was more magnanimous when it came to challenging situations, but Huo Siqian didn’t care about all that. In his world, the words ‘petty’, ‘despicable’, and ‘manipulative’ didn’t mean much. The only thing he cared about was getting Huo Mian – that was his one and only wish in life…

“Even so, I refuse to commit murder. I can ruin his reputation, but I’m not one to cross my moral bottom line,” Qin Chu frowned; he and Rick came up with the perfect plan that will be put into place after his wedding. Once implemented, the Huo Corporation will collapse within a short amount of time and Huo Siqian will lose everything.

Qin Chu wasn’t going to let him off easy this time… he realized that if he didn’t defeat Huo Siqian, the latter would always have his eyes set on Huo Mian.

“It’s all useless… really, trust me, as long as he’s alive… he’ll be a poisonous tumor, sucking the life out of you. You have to kill him,” Song Yishi tried Fher best to persuade Qin Chu.
