Season 6

Episode 47

(I’m Your Little Brother As Well (7)

“You don’t need to apologize to me, you didn’t do anything that upset me,” Huo Mian coldly said.

“Sis, I didn’t hide this from you on purpose.” Guilty, Zhixin lowered his head.

“Senior Sister, scold me if you want to since I was the one who chased after Zhixin first. I’ve liked him for quite a while, and I’ve paid attention to him since the first time he came to find you at the hospital. Later, I sneakily added him on WeChat, and then we… started dating.”

“I don’t want to scold either of you, you’re both old enough and aren’t kids anymore. You can make your own decisions, but I hope you’ll both think about this rationally… I only don’t agree to you guys dating at such a young age because first, you’re both fairly young, and your lives are unstable. Therefore, your futures are unpredictable. Second, I know both of you all too well. You’re both innocent and naïve, so if the relationship doesn’t go well and either of you gets hurt, it would be a fatal attack to the both of you. It’s very dangerous for inexperienced people to date each other, because you don’t know how to take care of the other person, and a lot of issues will occur as time progresses.”

“Sis… weren’t you and Qin Chu also…?”

“Shut up… we’re different than you, Zhixin… I’m not against it, I’m only trying to do what’s best for you.”

“Sis… but we’re truly in love, I won’t betray Yue.” Jing Zhixin was an extremely naïve kid.

Plenty of girls had shown their admiration for him at school, but he didn’t like any of them. Instead, he fell for Huang Yue, who was two years older than him.

This could almost be called a doomed relationship…

“Mian, I really like Zhixin too, please give us a chance, and I won’t let you down. Trust me, I can earn money now, I won’t ask Zhixin to pay for me.” Huang Yue was very naïve and thought that Huo Mian was against them dating because she thought of Zhixin as a kid and didn’t want him to spent too much money on dating.

Huo Mian slightly sighed, “Yue, money isn’t the problem. I told you what I’m worried about and can’t do anything else if you don’t understand, but don’t worry, I won’t force you guys to split up. I’m not an irrational person. If you two really like each other, then stay together.”

“Really?” Jing Zhixin’s face filled with pleasant surprise.

“Thanks, Senior Sister!”

“But I have to be blunt. If something wrong happens to your relationship, and you’re both in great pain, don’t come and cry to me, because I’ve already warned you guys against it.”

“That’s fine, Sis, I promise that I will be true and loving to Yue.” Jing Zhixin was very happy.

“Thanks, Mian,” Huang Yue tightly wrapped her arm around Jing Zhixin.

Huo Mian originally wanted to treat them to food, but she noticed how affectionate they were and immediately knew that they were still in their honeymoon phase.

So, she no longer wanted to be that third wheel and returned to her home at Imperial Park.

Qin Chu wasn’t home; they were supposed to eat breakfast together this morning, but Huo Mian went back to the Huo Mansion.

She sent Qin Chu a WeChat message, so he stayed at GK for work and didn’t go home as well.

Therefore, Huo Mian decided to take a nap. When she woke up, it was already 3:30 in the afternoon.

She looked through the fridge and found there wasn’t much left to eat, so she made some sushi, along with miso soup, and had a simple meal.

As she ate the sushi, she suddenly thought of something…

Then she mysteriously smiled, made some more, and brought it to the hospital…

As expected, Su Yu and Wei Liao came to visit Tang Chuan together a bit after 6 PM that evening.

The three of them played cards and didn’t have much to do. At dinnertime, Su Yu originally wanted to go out and ask Huo Mian what she wanted to eat.

However, he saw that Huo Mian was eating sushi, so without another word, he immediately placed one in his mouth.

His bandit-like personality was completely exposed…
