Students in the cafeteria gossiped and talked about the event that occurred minutes ago. I literally just announced to the whole school that we had sex, even if we didn't. It was for added effects and im glad Vanessa didn't mind, perks of her new attitude. We would be the talk of the school for weeks and hopefully, keep Jackson off her back and maybe help her realize what an ass he is so she can get over him thus earning some points for myself. I have the best plan ever.
I stole one or two glances at her eating quietly. In under 24hours she had changed so much I was beginning to get scared, not of her winning the game but the fact that I changed her whole life style. After the bell was rung for the end of lunch break, I walked Vanessa to class standing at the door since the teacher hadn’t arrived yet.
"So, I guess I’ll be seeimg you after school." She says with a sly grin.
"Yeah, you will" I responded with a smirk.
Just then, Sasha came out of no where shoving her by the shoulder, Vanessa glared at her without saying a word. She leaned in and pecked my cheeks.
"I'll see you later." She whispered, Sasha eyes were on us. Vanessa pulled away grinning and got into class.
"Skylar!" She yelled snapping her fingers in my face.
"Yes?" I asked, she seemed extremely annoyed for some reason.
"What's going on between you two!" She shrieked, her voice came out girly.
"In case you forgot Sasha, Vanessa and I are playing a game, one I intend to win and I'm putting all my cards in." I clicked my tongue shaking my head with a smile.
"A game? That's all this is." She stated and I nodded.
"Of course, what were you thinking?" She smirked and cocked her head to the side.
" Nothing, I can't wait for the game to be over so we can get back to..." She poked my chest , I removed her hands slowly.
"Bye Sasha." I winked and walked away.
The final Bell was rung, I walked to her locker humming a song, I sighted her from afar but she was looking preety gloomy.
"Tired?" She shook her head in a negative sign.
"I can't watch a movie with you." She stated and I arched my brows.
"I just remembered that I have alot of chores to do." She chuckled nervously and I knew she was lying.
"Vanessa...." I trailed off hoping she would trust me with the truth.
"I'll see you later Skylar." She pecked my cheeks so dryly and waked away.
I stood transfixed. My thoughts were hazzy, I wanted to know what went wrong so I could help her. I sighed and quickened my pace to catch up with her. She got into her car, igniting the engine before driving away. I got on bike and trailed her at a safe distance. She stopped at her house so maybe she was telling the truth after all. I parked my bike and took off my helmet walking to the door.
Maybe this was a bad idea and I should've be invading her privacy, she said she's busy so I should just go home. My folded fists stopped in mid air, I grunted, turned around and froze at the sounds i heard. I knew them way too well, the sounds I've been hearing for years. Without warning or knocking, I barged inside as Vanessa screamed.
"Mom!" She yelled. On the ground lying helplessly was a middle aged woman bleeding profusely from her head. Vanessa raised her head clearly surprised to see me. A man which I presumed was her dead stood with a broken bottle.
"Mom..." She sobbed, touching her cheeks.
"You're a monster!" She yelled, grabbing her phone probably to fail 911......
