"IN LOVE" WITH A SOLDIER" SEASON 2, EPISODE 50"

IN LOVE WITH A SOLDIER

Season 2

Episode 50

(Surprising discovery)

"John!" eventually cried Cherry. She was also very surprised to see him there.

John was accompanied by his secretary. He gestured to him to leave first, and after the secretary left, he turned to Cherry, and said, "Cherr, what are you doing here?"

"Well, uh..." Cherry wasn't quite sure whether she should tell him about it or not. She thought for a while, and finally said, "I'm here to meet Jackson."

"To see my uncle?" John couldn't believe his ears. He continued to ask her, "Are you together with him again?"

Cherry shook her head, and replied, "No, I just have something that I need to talk with him."

John saw that Cherry looked pretty anxious, and it seemed that she indeed had something urgent with him. Concerned, he asked, "What is it about? Can I help you?"

Cherry quickly refused him, "Oh, no, thanks; it's about my brother."

"Wilson?" John immediately guessed that it had something to do with Wilson; he was the only person that Cherry called brother.

"Yes, " replied Cherry, while nodding her head lightly. She didn't know why, but she regarded John as being a reliable friend, and told him everything frankly. "My brother's company is facing financial difficulty, and I want to ask Jackson to help the company pull through."

"Why did you ask him for help?" John felt a little bit strange. He knew his uncle well, and he knew that he would never do anything without gaining a benefit out of it.

John continued to ask, "Did he tell you what his give-and-take conditions were?"

"No, he just told me to see him here."

John thought it over for a while, and then looked into Cherry's eyes, and said, "Cherry, do you believe in me? If you do, then please don't turn to my uncle for help. Don't worry, I'll figure something out how to help you with your brother and his company."

Cherry sensed John's seriousness, and she knew that he was not kidding her. All of sudden, Cherry remembered Stephen's words, and thought that maybe out of all of them, John was the only one who was reliable and trustworthy.

Finally, Cherry decided to believe John, and firmly nodded at him.

John thought for a while and came up with a rough plan in his mind. He said, "I still have some money, and I can lend it to your brother; then, I have some business partners who can also help help him with his business. Everything will be okay."

Cherry felt relieved after she heard John's plan. If there would be more companies to partner up with Wilson's, then things were going to go a whole lot better than she had expected. In this way, her brother's company was sure to pull through.    Cherry put on a big smile on her face, and said, "Thank you, John, I really appreciate your help!"

John was very happy when he saw Cherry's smile, and delightedly said, "You're always welcome, Cherry!" After that, he remembered something, and asked, "Are you still going to meet with my uncle?"

After Cherry heard John's words, she was in quite a dilemma. She had promised Jackson that she would go to meet him, and if she didn't keep up to her promise, he would surely be mad at her. Anyway, if she didn't need to ask for his help anymore, there was no harm in just meeting with him.

"Yes. Now that I've promised him already, I have to. Anyway, I don't need to turn to him for help anymore; I'll only have a small talk with him and then leave right away, " said Cherry.

John also thought that she should go to see him. If she didn't arrive when he was expecting her, then Jackson was sure to look for her everywhere, and wouldn't stop until he found her.

John was still worried about her, and again told her, "Okay, just go ahead, but remember not to ask my uncle for help! Don't worry, I'll take care of it."

Cherry nodded, and replied, "Okay, got it."

John then left, and as Cherry saw his disappearing figure she felt delighted. She had loved him very much in the past, and even though there was no love left between them, he was still as sincere and kind as he had always been with her. She felt very lucky, and was glad that she could still be friends with him.

Cherry then went upstairs and arrived at the door of the appointed room. She then summoned up all of her courage and knocked on the door.

Jackson answered it, and when he saw Cherry, he gestured to her from inside the room. He said, "Come in, please."

Cherry slowly walked inside, and she saw that the room was obviously a presidential suite. The luxurious decorations were impressive, and Cherry couldn't help but look around.

"So? Are you here just to see the presidential suite?" said Jackson with a smirk on his face.

Cherry immediately collected herself again, and as she looked at Jackson, she asked, "Have you been here all day?"

"What do you think? To meet you I had no choice but to stay here all day long, " said Jackson in a teasing manner.

"Oh, well..." Cherry started to feel a bit awkward, and didn't know how to behave in front of him. She thought for a while, and eventually continued, "Well, you don't need to help me anymore with my brother's trouble; it's been resolved."

"Really?" said Jackson after hearing her words. He then suddenly walked closer to her, and while he grabbed her waist, he asked, "Then what are you still doing here?"

Cherry didn't dare for a moment to look straight into his eyes; she instead bowed her head, and said, "I just came to tell you about it, and anyway, I promised that I would come to see you here."

"Really? If you're such a trustworthy and considerate person, could you please tell me why did you leave me five years ago?" Jackson urged her to answer his question, and suddenly realized that the woman had many secrets hidden away from him. In the morning, she had been anxious to ask him for help, but now she told him that everything had been settled and that she didn't need his help anymore.

Cherry didn't expect that Jackson would ask her this question. She was surprised, and looked up at him.

Jackson didn't push her again, and instead he asked, "Do you remember this place?"

Cherry was a bit confused, and thought to herself puzzled, 'Remember this place? Why should I remember this place?'

Cherry looked around, but still couldn't recall a memory about it. Did it actually have anything to do with her life? She didn't think it had.

All of a sudden Cherry realized that opposite to the hotel was Stephen's bar. She then remembered that day when she had been drunk, and gone into a hotel and...

Was this actually the hotel in which she had lost her virginity just because she had gone into the wrong room? When Cherry thought about it better, the expression on her face immediately changed dramatically, and it seemed that she had remembered the place after all.
"You've remembered it, haven't you?" asked Jackson. Judging from the look on her face, he guessed that she must have.

Cherry was too shocked to say anything more, and instead just looked around. This was the place where she had lost her virginity, and she had been wondering who that bastard was.

Jackson, who seemed to have read Cherry's mind, whispered near her ear, "That year I met a drunk woman here, and then…"

Jackson didn't finish his sentence, but he was sure that Cherry knew everything, and that no one else knew the details better than she did.

Cherry raised her head and looked straight into Jackson's eyes; she couldn't believe it.

Was it really Jackson the one who had taken away her virginity?

"It was you! It was you..." Cherry couldn't help but repeat herself.

"Well, yes, it was me, " said Jackson firmly. He then pressed Cherry's shoulders hard, and earnestly said to her, "Honey, from the very beginning to the very end, you'll always be my woman."

Jackson then seemed to be announcing to the whole world that Cherry was his, and that her virginity, her whole person, everything that concerned her in someway was his. She was his woman.

Cherry didn't know how to express her own feelings at that moment.

She should have been happy, but she had never expected that the answer to the thing that had always been lingering somewhere in her mind would be like this. She had disliked herself especially when she had fallen in love with Jackson, and she had hidden it deeply in her heart. She now had finally got to know what had actually happened on that day, and the answer she received both shocked her and made her feel relieved.
