Calabar pastor who kills child for sacrifice says ritual items are drama costume, blood from goat, chicken

A pastor in Cross river state accused of abducting, killing a 1 year old girl, removing her heart and putting it in a white basin allegedly for rituals was defiant yesterday when he was paraded by the Police.

Pastor Anthony Obo of God’s Commandment Ministry International claimed the ‘occult items’ found in his church were drama costumes, while the blood found in a red bucket in his church was that of a goat and a chicken he killed to celebrate his baby’s dedication.

Florida Police officers find over $1,000 hidden inside man's anus

A Florida man has been charged after trying to hide over $1,000 in his anus.

Pattreon Stokes, 26, was pulled over early on Saturday morning by a Marion County deputy for speeding. The deputy who pulled him over reportedly smelled marijuana coming from inside his car. A search of the car revealed that he was carrying 197 grams of methamphetamine, rock cocaine, 4 grams of heroin, a scale, a small amount of marijuana, and a large amount of money. Stokes also had a 7-month-old child in the car at the time.

A well-connected Cambodian police officer fatally shot his wife and then himself on Sundaynight, August 27.

According to the report by the National Police Khieu Kounel, 34, shot his wife, Yeng Leakhana, 37, in the head inside their Meanchey district, Phnom Penh home before turning the gun on himself.

Billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, popularly known as Evans, may face death trial as he pleaded guilty this morning to all charges of conspiracy, arm robbery and kidnapping. He was arraigned before the Ikeja High Court in Lagos this morning. As the judge adjourned the case till October 19th.

Video: Gang of Morroco teenagers sexually assaulting an underage girl in a public bus

This is a very heartbreaking video to watch. It shows a group of teenage boys sexually assaulting an underage girl called Imane on a bus in Morocco.

The girl is reportedly mentally unstable and can be seen struggling in the video while the boys tore her shirt off her body and pulled her pants down. She cried and struggled helplessly while the boys laughed in her face and fondled her naked breasts, pressing their body against hers.

Ogun State Police has rescue six children from a human trafficker

The Ogun State Police Command has rescued six children from an alleged human trafficker in the state.

The suspect, Paul Aganla, who was arrested on the 26th of August at Isiu, in Owode -Egba area of the state, was paraded on Monday at the command’s headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta,

The state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, disclosed this shortly before parading 43 suspects whose offences ranged from child trafficking, armed robbery to kidnapping and murder.

The Ogun Police Command arrested a 33-year old man, who allegedly stole cassava tubers and killed the farm owner at Sojulu village via Ibogun in Ifo Local Government Area of the state.

It was gathered that the suspect Azeez Kilani murdered the farm owner identified as David Adima from Benue State, after he caught him on his farmland uprooting one sack of cassava tuber.

A 36-year-old woman killed her seven-year-old differently-abled daughter by throwing her twice from their rented flat on the third floor at Jaraganahalli in JP Nagar on Sunday afternoon.

According to witnesses, the girl survived the initial fall with serious injuries but succumbed after her mother rushed down, scooped her up and went back up to their flat only to throw her down once again in front of petrified neigbhours.

A Nigerian man was stripped naked and beaten up by a group of fellow Nigerians who caught him trying to rob their home in Negeri Sembilan area of Malaysia.

In the video posted by an Italy-based Nigerian , the alleged thief was asked how he got entrance into the home and he replied saying that he initially came to beg for his house rent. When he got to the house, he saw that the door wasn't locked and that was when he decided to steal their valuables.

The Pentagon has notified the US Congress of the sale to Nigeria of 12 Super Tucano A-29 planes and weapons worth $593 million, needed for the fight against the militant group, Boko Haram.

The move on the sale, which included thousands of bombs and rockets and was originally agreed by former President Barack Obama’s administration, was announced by the Pentagon’s Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The sale was initially announced on 2 August.

A German Nurse has been sentenced to life imprisonment for killing 86 patients entrusted to his care

A German nurse serving a life sentence for murdering two of his patients is believed to have killed at least 86 people entrusted to his care, officials said, on Monday, in what they described as an imagination-defying series of crimes.

The nurse, identified as Niels Hoegel, was sentenced to life in prison in February 2015, after he confessed and a court in the northern town of Oldenburg found him guilty of administering overdoses of heart medication to some patients in an intensive care ward in Delmenhorst. He was convicted of two counts of murder, two counts of attempted murder and causing bodily harm to patients and is serving his sentence.

A 32-year-old Prophet and leader of a church in Burgersdorp outside Tzaneen in Limpopo was arrested by the South African Police on Tuesday August 22 for raping two 14-year-olds, a 15-year-old and 17-year-old he lured into his church claiming he wanted to pray for them.

The self-acclaimed Prophet whose name was given as Ngoepe married with three children, allegedly raped the girls who were ushers inside the church after inviting them for a prayer session on separate occasions.
